Delighted to see that the Shetland Diaries are to be replayed Starting Wednesday 31st March. It was truly fascinating for both visitors and shetlanders alike. The staff had a ring side seat as the production team were resident at the St Magnus Bay Hotel during the making of the series. Paul Bird or Andrea Manson (Manager and Manageress) commented on the many hours spent in production.

As part of our ongoing historical interest in the hotel we’re on the lookout for any old photographs of the St Magnus Bay Hotel and surrounding area. If anyone has any photos which the’yd like to share then we would be very interested to view them. Photos of any age are great.
